Hello my Friends
As I can no longer kneel down to get under my railway I decided to take it down and build a dedicated board gaming table.
This is what it looks like after a few hours dismantling.
I forgot to take pics of the completed railway but it will be forever in my memory.I had 15 years of fun with it.
All the best.

Needs must I guess John.
I am going to repurpose the wood to make a 6 by 4 table so that I can play Gloomhaven which takes up a fair bit of room.

That fact that you have excepted the change is a good sign.
If took me some time to decided about my cave, now looking back all the hard work and chaos that it caused is really worth it. Yours will be too.

Hi Ralph
Good to be able to look forward and move on. One chapter closes and another opens. You'll have great fun.

Well done Ralph. I think calling t quits and moving forward is usually the best policy.

Sad times in one way, but you now have another great world to explore. Gloomhaven sounds good......you’ll have to post some pictures.

So from now on can we call you Dr Beeching? :tongue-out2:

Ralph. My watch word is 'Adapt' Obviously yours too.

It's always sad to eventually accept you can't do summat that you used to do. (No smirking in the back!) But now you have a whole new, and exciting project.

Enjoy!

Thanks Ron:smiling3:.
Chester is going to help me with the heavy work,he is also looking forward to playing some games with me.

As I’m sure you know Ralph, Six by Four is a common figure gaming table size. There are plenty of really good rule sets around now that are designed for that sized table so you could have great fun exploring those with Chester....For WW2, as an example, Chain of Command gives a great platoon sized game.
