I am 3D printing a 2 cylinder engine of my design. The rockers are operated by pushrods with a clevis at each end. I wanted to get the length etc right, so I made an assembly jig. Good old lolly pop stick and hot melt glue! Add a bit of copper wire, and I have a jig. I only needed 4 pushrods, but I made 5 to have a spare.
The jig in use, 1P for scale, and a rule to be sure. A small bit of bluetack holds it all together. When it looks right a small drop of superglue is wicked into the join. The copper rod is from a small length of 2.5mm twin and earth bought for the job.

When I had made the pushrods I gave them a coat of Humbrol grey primer by brush. And to have somewhere for them to hang, I made a drying rack. Again, lolly sticks etc.

When I've finished this engine, I will start printing the bits for the next one, a four cylinder. For that one I will start a build thread.
