Can't see 'Downfall' or Kubricks 'Paths of Glory' anywhere, so here they are. 'A matter of life and Death' starring David Niven should get a mention- well before its time.

But all said and done you can't beat a Sunday afternoon in front of 'Where Eagles Dare'- Broadsword calling Danny Boy....Broadsword calling Danny Boy.....

One i'd forgotten about which sprang to mind a couple of days ago.

The Caine mutiny with Humphrey Bogart, an utterly fantastic film with an outstanding performance from Bogart as Captain Queeg with his OCD ball bearings.

Never heard of paths of glory but to be frank, I see the name Kubrik and run a mile
