Can anyone help me Please. Before the latest update of the forum I used to be able to change my working in progress threads to completed threads but it seems this is not the case anymore and if not could someone explain to me exactly what is now the correct procedure as I have lost my way a little bit and am now very unsure of what and how I should be doing things in the correct way.Also I had a gallery of my work once and can no longer access that anymore or add to it does it still exist and if so how would I get back into it any help in resolving my problems will be greatly appreciated thanks John

I think you can change the thread title via the ' thread tools ' button John

Nothing should have changed as regards to permissions, but I will look in to it, the gallery link is still at the top of the page

Are you on a PC or a mac?

In the top right of the thread page is a line of text: Thread tools watch thread and selected posts. Just after thread tools is a little arrow. Placing the pointer of the mouse over 'thread tools' should make a dropdown menu er... drop down. Click on MOVE THREAD and a window should appear. You can chose the location of the thread to move it to there.

The big question is..... Does any of this appear?

You should have never been able to move threads, Mods can only do that, and there has always been a time limit on being able to edit a thread, it was because people complained that no one would comment on a post when they had put all the content in, but if you just edit a post it doesn't show in new posts and it will slowly move down the time line

John has a point there I had forgotten that. Sorry-

As a side note, you don't need to move a thread just because the build is done. Nearly all make a final post in the construction thread, with a single 'teaser' picture and end the thread. Then open a new thread in the relevant completed section.

So any others that are reading this for a solution, now you know. lol Make a new thread in the completed section. If it any thing needs editing or moving due to being placed incorrectly, A PM to a mod should soon get a reply...

I havent got the Gallery either John , i havent had it since the forum went onto the new server a few weeks back , i didnt say anything as i knew you were still finalising bits and bobs but if you say it should now be there mine isnt. cheers tony

You do know there is a print screen on your key board right? Prt Scr or it'll say something like that. It'll automatically copy it and all you have to do from there is Ctrl + V in a photo shop of sorts like Gimp or windows paint. Just thought I'd say that.
