Hello mates,

I'm back here after a while to show you a the little Revell FW-190 I built to make some exercise.

The machine reproduced is the Günther Migge "9 White Kognak Pumpe" with Nachtjagdschwader 10 in 1944, a night fighter mounting the Neptune radar system.

The kit is built OoB with minor additions/modifications: replaced kit's MG with syringe needle and modified plates on leading edge, added landing light, added tubes to landing gear and gear down indicator, new seat belts.

The canopy, weakest point of this kit according to most of the reviews, has been ruined by me and covered with a drap.

Edit: Decals missing on the tail as they were no present in the kit and the LHS didn't have them available.

Ready for your critiques and suggestions and improve my skills,

Francesco

Great work Francesco I'm really liking this and a great idea to use a drape to cover a damaged canopy part, I will use that idea on my next build and put a cover over the whole kit.

I also like the drape idea. I might be wrong but the radar antenna look a little thick and chunky to me, then again if it's a otb piece in 1/72 that kind of makes sense.

Nice job Francesco

Thank you mates.

One question, how do you see the pics? Are they too dark?

An excellent 190 Francesco, the paint is great - you'd hardly know it was a 1/72 kit.

The photos are a little dark to me, just need to up your exposure settings a little.

Cheers

Hello mates,

thanks a lot for your feedback and nice comments.

Actually I would have preferred not to use a tarp

BTW, I did some experiment with my artificial light setup and took few more pictures, should be better now. Still I see WB is different depending on the website displaying the pics, don't know why...

Hope you like them better

Francesco
