I quite agree Tim. I used Geisha because that is a more universally understood term. Rather like Samurai is used for all soldiers when most were Ashigaru.Nice brushwork Bill. Freehand work in particular, is excellent. One minor observation though, she looks more Maiko (apprentice) than Geiko (Full Geisha). Maiko wear colourful clothes like this to detract from their perceived lack of conversational skills……my wife and I did a great guided tour in Kyoto explaining all this….
That’s a shame, I’m sure she’d love it when you get there…..It’s very clean and everything just works……I know you would like it, there are still model shops in prime locations. It was actually our trip to Tokyo and Kyoto that brought me back to the hobby after a ten year hiatus.
