Hi Everyone

Pleasure Rick. I hope they came out okay
Thanks for the feedback Jim
Not a problem Greg. Its great to have you along.
Sorry JR. Leave in a safe place for painting later on.
Thanks Mike. Keep the rabble in check from the back rows eh?. Probably safer there. Si's just turned up with some rock cakes so plenty to keep us going.
:smiling::smiling::smiling5::smiling3::tears-of-joy::tears-of-joy: Best one yet Richard. I'm still rolling about:thumb2::cool:

Steve, good to get the prep work out of the way. It happens... the forgeting as long as you remember the process and the finishing is easily repeated. Wife and daughter hogging the telly so no way to watch the match.

Cheers,
Richard

Sorry you missed the game Richard. England are looking good for the world cup.

Making a lot of headway Steve, should be fun watching all these bit and pieces

Hi Everyone

Glad you like it Scottie
Your wish is my command Rick. Construction pictures below

Hi Steve,
That interior looks great...the engine in particular has a very realistic look to it. Love it:smiling4:

and it's getting better and better.... Steve... as i always say...and annoy... MOORE MOOOORE MOOOOORE.... :smiling::smiling::smiling::smiling:

Just caught up and the interior is great Steve:cool:, good thing so many hatches can be displayed open so you still can have a peep inside.:thumb2:

Steve.
Great result on the whole thing but esp the exhaust, can't see a seam line anywhere.
I didn't show the internals on mine, in fact it's actually a runner as well, but didn't want to try to upstage your build . :flushed::surprised::nerd:
JR.

Hi Everyone

Cheers Si. As PDiddy says " You can smell the diesel" :smiling3:
Plenty more tonite Greg. Many thanks
I am hoping once finished a fair bit will be seen with everything open Fernando
Your not looking close enough Mr Race. :smiling3:There are one or two niggling seam lines that I missed.

Steve,
Just caught up with this. Lovely work on the interior indeed. The bling is excellent especially the fender clips. Top work.

Hello Steve,
Just caught up on the build - nothing wrong with it - fuel filler caps down to wear 'n tear. The interior looks a treat, and with what you have completed so far I am looking forward to the exterior paint job.
Cheers, Mike.

Steve.
Bloody, hell fire and brimstone that is some pe, I'd have lost sight of it way before the bends came .
Why put the mud on before the clean, any reason ?

JR

Love love love the engine oil and stains... your usual masterpiece work even if it is OOB for you..bookmarking this one.

Hi Everyone

Now that I have recovered Scottie, I am quite pleased with the way they turned out but at the time.......:loudly-crying:
I am hoping some strategic paintwork will mask the worst of it Mike. However after tonight's clean up she is looking a lot better
The mud is put on first JR because I am a tight git and I don't want to waste my precious pigments building up depth:smiling5::smiling5::smiling3::cool::thumb2:
Thanks Joe. Not too happy with one of the hatches though, so that will be dumbed down a bit with pigments. However overall I am pleased with the engine.:thumb2:
Cheers Rick. Looking forward to starting to put the wet stuff on.

Steve,
I use a fibre glass pen all the time they are invaluable, but I would use a mask when using them the fibres that break off can irritate the nose.

I was all masked up, glasses and gloves on. I did find a few shards of fibre glass on the bench afterwards. So I gave the whole area a good clean. I used to use micro steel wool and that made a load more mess so this was a pleasant change. Any way what are you doing using fibre glass pens??. Your builds are far to clean for that sir :smiling5:
