Lovely......Best use for logs……
Currently burning hornbeam acquired from my neighbour, who had three taken down last year. He got the tree surgeon to cut them to length so I only have to split the larger chunks. Hornbeam is very tough to split, let me tell you….only way I’ve found is to use a wedge and club/sledge hammer….
I’ve also got his beech and willow prunings from the same source, great for starting a fire :thumb2:
I can feel the warmth from here!
