Shame ..... I note you don't spell out your reasons ..... if you have any issues , you can't have them resolved unless the mods know what they are up against .....

I don't want to open up a hornets nest but is there anything that bad. I've found it great with no apparent open wounds anywhere.

I drifted away for a while...wanting to experience some serious modelling. Don't get me wrong, I like it here 'cos it's free and easy and you can share weekend builds or quickies to get ones mojo back. The banter is very homely and wickedly fun. Occasionally I get irritated by the same beginners questions but am immediately humbled when I reflect that I had once been a beginner myself and will offer answers to familiar stumbling blocks I had encountered in my journey in this hobby. I confess I'm not the best and am still learning and that's why I drift away to specific forums to hone my skills... and these guys are tough cookies but fair. The encouragement is measured so you are able to see where you stand. Another confession is that I like to see good work. It doesn't diminish my quest to improve. It's always...how did he do that? and I want to do what he did. To do better is to see good stuff and like what Mike Butler said in his presentation...Practise Makes Perfect...by practising, experimenting and working on improved methods will make you better rather than practising the same perhaps wrong methods over and over again that misguide you. That would be my explanation for going away.

Perhaps Tony sees that here and has left without explaining. I haven't seen his post or was he selling something and got no response? I hope he's alright.
