What's critical is that we don't assume that 'craft' - or artisanal practice, which is Tim's rather better take on it - is somehow less worthy, of less value, then Art. Craft skills are hugely valuable, to be much admired and in no way lesser achievements than artistic creation.

Now I need to go and read that treatise Tim linked to!

Just had to take a second look and have to agree with Richard the tat looks cool almost see the tiny frayed edges caused by hand needle work. Yum!
