Well for all that are waiting to get their Christmas wishes sorted here are the results of the voting for the Group builds for 2013.

natural elements ... 1

Non tracked armoured vehicles ... 8

SPG's ... 3

Helicopters ... 8

Motorbikes ... 4

Night fighters ... 1

Something alive ... 4

The aircraft of USS Enterprise (CVN65)... 3

Dog fights ... 1

SAS ... 1

light army trucks ... 3

civilian aircraft ... 1

The ones in bold being the winners. A very different bunch of builds.

So you can put those in the calender and as I would like to give you ALL the chance to join in as much as possible this year we will try the doubles. Remember you dont have to join them all.

so the proposal is:

1st quarter: Non tracked armoured vehicles

2nd quarter, Helicopters.

3rd quarter; Motorbikes

4th quarter; Something Alive. (Just as long as its not human!!!)

I hope you can live with that. If anyone feels that one of the subjects that didn't make the cut deserves attention feel free to suggest it as a special interest build and see if there are enough others interested as well.

Hmm not sure what I've got for something alive that isn't human - unless an "elf" counts

Don't have a motorbike in the stash - well apart from the other 1:35 Harley from the set I used for my "Laughing Tanker" diorama, but that could be an interesting variation. Helicopters and non-tracked armoured vehicles are not a problem in my stash as it currently stands...

I've sussed this ... its a blob of PVA with a few little specks of colour painted on ... et le voila!! .... AN AMOEBA

I was hoping to join a GB on the forum at some stage but I only have WW2 aircraft in my stash so that kind of counts me out. Good luck Guy it's an interesting set of GB's for 2013

I'm in for helicopters and maybe motorbikes. Got a few others that I want to get finished and others that I want to get started next year.

Well I'm glad to see happy comments! If there are a few that are thinking Oh what about...... dont forget that these are the Group Builds and will be held on a short leash! those that didn't make it might just end up in the theamed builds.....I have a few days comming to me over the Christmas so I will sort that out and post a whole new thread/section for those.

Also the SIG builds will be up to you in the future. The ONLY thing I will hold you all to is that there will have to be a minimum of ten participants. Other wise there will be far to many and the 'special' will sort of fizzle out.

2013 will, I hope,be a year that will bring more members to these builds and tempt people to try something that they would normally shy away from.
