not at all , clean fluss planking there ,and envy i started this project as you three years ago but had too stop due too funds got as far as part planking parts 19 sots but just binned ,have kept wood as same size as victory as you see tricky cutting wood looking into easy cleaner way at moment , as time is needed second side now working on four port holes cut awaiting sanding looking into too help with that too nice work so far will keep an eye time for the rum or coffee , more work later when home ,cryton

some more planking done on H M S victory last night tiding up hang over planks tonight once glue set painting figures also over weekend that's my Easter spoken for , gun ports are trick so and so's filing difficult wood split's so easy ,arrrrrr a keg of rum arrrr cry

o yes ,there is no time pressure on build as no other project ,for the foreseeable future no funds so it will be done as and when ,cry

Hi ship mates ,thank you for the encouragement , some lovely work on site .this for me has been a passion sailing ship , the skill , on the open sea , the beautiful detail ,
So behind this build , respect toothe time , and history more so victory planking done and figures started 63 in total .

decking taken up another few levels now cutting out upper gun ports ,.

more work over weekend on H M S victory , i had to re-plank right side as i realizedView attachment 280367 View attachment 280368 View attachment 280369 View attachment 280370 and had removed too much cannon port on decking frustrating now sorted so hopefully can get on , plus just obtained new drill so hopefully it will make drilling holes for cannon ports easier ,as this very tricky work and time costly . patinece of course is key which i haven't got at moment some rum is needed .hahah cry
