Went out for a meal last night so no modelling done. However, before I went to bed I thought I would just check progress on the Zvezda BT-7 build. Finding a bit that needed a bit of extra glue, I shook the near empty bottle of Mr Cement to get some on the brush and did what was needed.

Accepting that the bottle was nearly empty, I checked my cupboard for a fresh bottle and, disaster, there wasn't one:eek:

Sleepless night followed. This morning I was straight onto Scale Model Shop to restock with Tamiya white cap and extra thin. I now have to ration myself awaiting emergency supplies to be shipped but I can relax knowing that John will get them to me quicker than any other supplier.

I will sleep easier tonight..... Bad modeller running out of glue

Don't forget to close it after you ;) :D

I once found myself - totally kit less. It was a dark place, not something I enjoyed. However, I believe that moment or darkness made me a little stronger, and I grew a STASH............................................

I know you'll hate me for saying this Graham but I have 2 spare Tamiya thins , 3 mr cements thin and I think 4 humbrol liquid poly, plus other types of Pva gorilla stuff etc etc I think I've got more glue than I'll need for my life time!!

I wish you'd said earlier as I could have got you out of a sticky situation

Kind regards

Robert

Well, John, Scale Model Shop, has come up trumps again :)

I feel as though I am solvent again ;)

The photo etch hold while you cut tool is something I have long wondered why anyone would want. After working on the BT-7 photo etch, I now realise that I do indeed want, if not need, one.

Thanks again for the great service John, getting a little slow in your old age mate these Took 28 hours from pressing the confirm order button to a cheery chap in an orange jacket knocking on my door :D

Sorry I will have a word with Royal Mail tell them it's not good enough.

I thought I packed that quite well as it wasn't the easiest thing to pack

To be honest John, it wasn't that easy to unpack either :D I did wonder wether I should have left the brass and plastic tube out of the order but then I thought, naaa he likes a challenge ;)

Who says I am not lol.... Yep, it sounds bad doesn't it but all is well now. It was nearly as bad as finding my Kindle battery was dead one lunchtime at work...... That horror will live with me forever, I had to listen to inane gossip instead :(
