Hello jim There are two decals on this model I know when I did this version I thought what???They are on either side of the driver slitsAnd afv stands for.( armoured fighting vehicle) And thanks for the kind words jimJohn

didn't even notice them my first look. definitely used to seeing the swastika then some kind of unit markings and numbers. still looks great though.

hi john, excellent job, the weathering and chipping is superb, especially the worn paint on the floor , cheers tony

sorry didn't explain my self I used marmite to do the worn effect And I also love the marmite to go off the subject completely with my beans on John

What a waste of Marmite! its rarer than rocking horse do-do over here and I sure as hell am not putting it on any thing that is not going in my mouth afterwards!!!!I cant believe that Marmite is cheaper than liquid mask either.

What are the advantages of Marmite over liquid masking solution?

Hello Ian I know but over here it's cheap and there is more marmite than dog poo poo

Anyway I find marmite comes of easy with a little warm water and it's easy to apply I find with masking fluid it can pull at the model and if you've got delicate pieces it can pull them off

Here's to the brown stuff I salute you

Cracking work on the AFV John, the weathering and muck are very well done.

When the half track is put with this excellent mini diorama it will really show it off....

Cheers,

Ron
