I wonder what the Germans are eating today

Tank is your basic T34 with a 75mm gun, later upgraded to the T34/85 with a new turret design
and a much more powerful 85mm gun. (I have one of those coming down the pike)
The T34 series were considered the best tanks of WWII, their diesel engines kept on going
while German petrol engines froze. Their wide tracks and low ground pressure gave much better
performance through deep snow and mud, their sloped armor was proof against all but the
most powerful of German guns.

Though primitive in technical design and with abominable crew comfort it was a real war winner.

I know I'm always looking for ways/techniques to try to improve my own Diorama's....

I have been asked that same question many times over the years and the basic answer is one most folks don't like to hear.
Fanatical, maniacal, obsessive practice practice practice.
I have done some in progress dio threads but that was some years ago (started on site in 2015) though some were also made long before that.
Many do not even exist anymore and so much work is still stuck in "tiny pic limbo" maybe to never be brought back to full size.
Much of the work that is being posted now are re shoots but fear not for I am working on a two tank epic horror scene which
seems to be my obsession of late.
It does entail a tragic scenario concerning the current conflict in Ukraine.

I have the basic layout and tanks mostly constructed the rest just kind of grows on it's own but I do find dio in progress
threads are anti-climatic when final product is unveiled.
Plus time is also an issue with business and family drama in constant flux plus age and health issues always nipping
at my ankles. Also my 25 year old camera is having trouble linking up to pc so I must try several times and it's
becoming a pain....but I digress

You asked about the snow factor and it is very easy, basically I use sifted white flour sprinkled lightly over a prepared surface
of white glue applied with a brush as you like for the effect you wish to create then just blow off excess....simple.

I will think about doing an in progress thread on current dio while still posting existing work.
Maybe doing an in progress will motivate me to hit the bench more often but mostly to help others if they can stand my
long winded commentary

We here in the north east of the US are still in the throws of winter, maybe I should post something more spring like
maybe it might help bring on some warmer weather

Thanks for your concern John, am doing great and am almost back to normal, even getting some
work done around the compound. Still avoiding any heavy work and am staying out of the woods.
Came mighty close to cashing it in a couple of times but have absolutely forbidden any such signs
of weakness.
Gave the Grim Reaper the bums rush on many occasions before, did he think things would be different
this time around?
Oh no! I still have many asses to be a pain in, as a matter of fact it seems like someone thinks he's
packing up to go fishing! well his assigned tasks for today had better be done! or else!

Thanks much, Ukraine dio needs some finishing touches and I have been lax to finish.
No excuses, just too busy of late but will turn it out in a couple of days....having a hard time naming it.
Thinking of going simple like 'War Pigs Part Two' as it is in the same conflict as the original 'War Pigs' dio.
