Yesterday at Telford was modelling Heaven for me.Then today I went christmas shopping with the wife at Lakeside shopping centre!.What a contrast!.I wasn't even allowed to go into Modelzone as I had spent money at the show.A horrible experience.But we only fell out the once.Which was pretty good going for an Xmas shopping trip.Earlier in the week I suggest I buy several kits at Telford.Then the wife could give them to relatives (taking payment of course).Then the relatives could give them to me on Xmas day!.I thought it was a great idea.But the missus didn't agree.Dont understand women.I was only trying to help her out!.

That's the deal I have with the wife, I buy a load of stuff which gets farmed out to family to give me back as presents at appropriate times - some of the time I have forgotten what It was I had bought months earlier and it's a proper surprise!

Keep working on her...It's a good plan, very useful when Modelzone have a sale.

Ive tried working on her Gaz.But she keeps saying i dont need anymore kits.But ive only got 24 in the stash!.I will have to do some more work on the house to soften her up a bit.

Unfortunately the modelling den/Garage has still got a lot of stuff in it.That will be an after the winter job.Ive got a table set up in my workshop though which is good enough for modelling for the time being.

I just buy what I want.

Down side she Pauline follows suit. Depends on who gets at the money first.

Another downside but now sorted. If out together & I say I just want to pop in for a tube of C/A I pop in.

But Pauline does a bit of popping in as well.

Result I appear with a 2" tube of C/A. In my pocket carrying a variety of pots filled with these green things called leaves I believe with pretty coloured bits sticking out the top.

I now sneak into B & Q. So does she. Thinks I have solved nothing.
