I’m 72 and I’ve been modelling since I was a small child. My dad introduced me to Airfix and I can still recall the EE. Lightning and Lancaster he built. Nothing was ever painted and I think he used chloroform as glue!!! My uncle was a pharmacist…..
Family life interrupted my hobby but I still collected kits.
Now retired, It seems I have less free time than when I was working.
I’m married with a fantastic and understanding wife.
We live in a small village just outside Stratford Upon Avon and have two large rescue dogs.
Subject wise, I try to build anything that takes my fancy.

Hi and welcome mate, its amazing how many of us get back into it when we retire, Lol.
Pics of some of your builds are always welcomed.
There's also lots of good peeps on here, friendly bunch, (and good looking too!) ....and answers to most questions can be found on here.... or maybe you can teach us a few things?

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

As for pics of my completed builds, I haven’t completed any for a long time as life has got in the way.
My wife was diagnosed with a serious medical condition; we moved house and got married last year.
However, you should see my shelf of doom!
