I did the 1/32 Trumpeter, and it needed a lot of weight as it is a natural heavy tail sitter. I packed the nose cone and under the cockpit with blue tack.
Thanks derek.

All looks great Ralph. It's strange to think the F14 is now retired.

Thanks Patrick. You just need to practice. :) .
Unfortunately practice doesn't make perfect in my case! Hands are too shaky :( but that's why my next aircraft will be an experiment with using pastels to pre-shade ;)

I use pastels on older kits with raised panel lines, takes a while but is worth it.

never thought of using them as a pre shade but hey worth a try. :)

Looks like this is going to be a sweet build at the end.

I agree with patrick, my hands dont work properly, and preshading that neat is nigh on impossible for me.

I used to practice a lot on piece's of paper.

And I have been using the airbrush for about 15 years.

Thanks Roger,appreciate your comments.

Looking very nice there Ralph ( I like the ejector seats that you have done. Weighted noses can be a pain if the weights not given but I hop you've put in as much as you can. I use lead strips and top up with modelling putty to help keep everything in place( not had problems yet

Never done a f14 but looks a nice kit ( any problems with the fit?
