Their is no pilot or provisions for one. Main gear doors are molded w/fuselage halves. Main bitch with makers who assume no in-flight modeling. Here I'm modifying the office to allow the addition of an aftermarket pilot.

A great idea which Ron would heartily approve of. Watching with interest.

Still working office as no armor plate or radio included in kit. The armor plate will go between radio & the pilot's seat. Much sanding to accept pilot & radio under canopy.

.......depends on how well the gear doors come out. Here's hoping.....

Some progress on this 1990 model, nice dash decal & two of the "hateful five" gear doors bashed. Left LED lamp does nice job w/color, right side incandescent lamp not so much.

Construction pretty much done. Surprise, variable position control surfaces. Good fit all around for ones' age except for gear doors. Canopy will be last, nose 20mike replaced & curing w/props.

Looks like you'd have been better off scratching those doors - and you sure got the skills to do that - so what stopped you?

Time Gern, thought I could clean them up w/filler after first coat of Sky. Here's hoping.

So, first coats on except for canopy. Doors will require filler, etc., but second top coat should do the trick? Second btm. cot after filler should make ready for decals.

A P38 and a bit of railway bridge. All very interesting, I wonder where are we going ??

You've done a fine job there. Looking forward to the next stages.
