Here's my homemade cleaning station!

One 4 pint milk jug, some kitty litter, a filter & the AB holder often supplied with eBay kit.

I cut a hole in the jug, epoxied the holder in place, filled it up 1/3 with kitty litter & used some paintbooth glassfibre filter material in the tube at the top.

So far it works really well, no fumes whilst cleaning & all the fluids are soaked up by the litter.

If anyone copies this, wet the litter a little before first use or it flies all round inside the jug!

Brilliant bit of heath robinson-esque engineering Patrick , I love it . Im going to make one , I wonder if cotton wool balls would do instead of the glass fibre? cheers tony

Very innovative, we don't have a cat could I use the litter from my daughters bedroom instead I would have a free neverending supply of that.

@ Tony ha-ha Heath-Robinson is what

I do best! I can't see why cotton wool wouldn't work just as well.

Reminds me of the old saying

"By the time I was old enough to realise that my father was right, my children were old enough to disagree with me "
