I'll see your stash Allyne and raise ya!

Here's my little collection (which got a little bit of a trim about a year and a half ago)

This isn't the lot either, there's some diorama bits and pieces including miniart dios, various diorama pieces, and even a 1/35 windmill! but they are not easy to get to to photograph (and I can't be bothered to get the step ladder)

I did a spread sheet a while back - it topped 250 kits but it's probably more like 180 now.

I seem to recall this conversation doing the rounds before...

Anyhoo, this lot will probably keep me busy for another 2 lifetimes if I work on it 8 hours a day!

Cheers

P

And I thought Allyne's stash was big, until I saw Paul's!!

If you don't get round to the Tamiya Panzer III, I'll take it off your hand's ;)

Cheers

Patrick

Oh go on then! I'll play as well. And before anyone says too much ...... I know! There's no way I'm ever likely to finish more than a fraction of this lot - but my kids will love me for what's left over!

Oh holy c**p!!

OMG Paul you have my dream stash! All those dragon Tigers and panthers man im well impressed.

Nice haul Dave.

Dave, I think you and I need councilling and some kind of 'modelling methadone' to ween us off, what appears to be, something of an addiction!

Patrick, Andrew I don't plan on getting rid of any more kits as I have plans for everything you see (and some you can't - obscured by cupboard doors are 3 Tasca Fireflies,4 Shermans Tasca/Dragon, 1/32 Tamiya Spit mkix and the Tamiya Mustang, PCM Spitfire mkIV, another MDC Typhoon [love that kit], 1/20 car kits and 3 Star Wars Fine Molds kits + other stuff I forget.

I unfortunately had to get rid of quite a considerable amount of kits when things were looking fairly grim. These included: 1/35 BR52, rolling stock flatwagens, panthers, jagdtiger, 1/24 Hurricane... The list was long and had some kits I was reluctant to get rid of. Happily I know a few found their way to people on this forum so at least they went to keen modellers.

Cheers

I've got a revell Huey hog and a BF 110, still in their boxes, only bought them on a whim coz they were cheap, and this is the first time i've had anything unbuilt thats not going in a dio or going to be build immediately.

feeble that it is ......i suppose thats a stash (of sorts).

I've always managed to keep my stash in single figures!

Here's my modest pile.

Only one luftwaffe subject left and I have a plan for that one, probably Theo Nibel's well documented D-9 brought down by a bird strike during Operation Bodenplatte.

Next up,however, will be the PCM Spitfire XIV. I need a challenge and the PCM kits I have built before are very accurate and make lovely models whilst requiring a bit of effort from the modeller (your's truly). Not a criticism of PCM just an observation. I'm looking at doing a SEAC scheme as I don't have one yet.

Cheers

Stash dear? What stash? Oh, I've had that one for ages; you must be mistaken...

Why do you need all those she says ?

Cos, says I, you have 10 fishes in a small pond. A bucket full of cos lettuces. 4 courgettes. 2 cucumber plants & millions of shrubs & flowers.

So what says she ?

Woman I am trying to keep up with you says I. I am only seven down & buying.

Tough life.

Laurie

Well after looking at Dave and Pauls pile my stash of 9 just isnt worth posting. Mind you at the rate I build them thats about four years worth for me. im sure Dave and Paul have just nipped round to the local model shop and taken those pictures for a laugh, either that or they are not married(wives left them after coming out with the dreaded statement" It's the stash or me") or they are married to the most understanding women in the world. Nice work guys.

Is there a support group?
Can you imagine a circle of people meeting in a private room, the councellor asks if anyone has anything to say so someone stands up and says ...

"My names Dave ... and i can't resist buying model kits"

:) :) :)
