Aaron, its a glass tank for reptiles. A bit like an aquarium, just with out the water... !Ian M
.................. So if you fill a vivarium with water (as well as the reptiles drowning) does it then become an aquarium ????

Peter

Jep. You might want to take the heated out as well. Not all vivarium heaters are water proof. Same as some Terrarium ones... o.O

Does anyone still hang their aircraft builds from the ceiling. I haven't since I was a kid but I'm thinking it wouldn't be such a bad idea when I become short of display space.

I'm right excited :) Today I'm picking up THIS display cabinet to display my Scalextric TRUCKs. I've managed to get them down to £20. I will at some point get it lit up with RGL LED Strip :)

Me and my girlfriend have just spent a couple of hour cleaning my collection of trucks and now have them all displayed

Here is my display of 32 scale WW2 aircraft. I have three 48 scale Spits on the shelf next to me in the office and a 32 scale ZM Skyraider up in my lounge making up the collection so far. Got room for a few more on this shelf then I will rethink.

These are open not closed shelves and as such give me display flexibility for larger scale aircraft. Dust is an issue, I have a cleaning lady who dusts the shelves just moving the models around. So far she has only knocked off a single aerial lead in the last 2 years. I, now and again, go over the models themselves with a soft brush.

The shelves are from Ikea and come in various arrangements to the same style.
