Now i don't know the chemical make up of bee's wax, Ran out of Bees wax the other night and as i'd just finished stripping my AB no wax.

So i grabbed a ear bud and stuck it in my ear only just enough ear wax to coat the threads of the nozzle, Worked just fine.

another use for bodily fluids.

Martin

PS; i have very clean ears.

A nurse or doctor would tell you off for putting things in your ear.

I think I will stick to my normal lube. Oh hang on. I don't lube!!

I rely on the cleaner. If I clean it with Cellulose thinner I do flush it through after with......White spirit though.

Seems to leave a nice fine film of slippery and as of yet has had no effect on using acrylics afterwards.

The white spirit leaves very fine oily residue, and when you first use your A/B next, I assume you spray onto something else prior to the subject you wish to paint.

This will immediatley remove the oily residue, therefore not effecting the paint you actually spray onto your subject.

Actually in a proprietary dvd on airbrushing a well known modeller recommends the oil off the face, at the sides of the nose as a suitable lubricant.Natural body residue.

Sounds absolutely gross but i guess it works because the guy produces stunning results.

Me, oh i use WD 40 seems to fix everything including osteoarthritus.
