I love that they're stepping up their product range and expanding. Masking tape and such. I love humbrol enamel paints, admittedly they were the only ones available to me as a kid way back when, but though I have a range of tamiya, Vallejo, alclad etc I still find enamel unbeatable for gloss work.

I use, with one or two exceptions, Humbrol enamels and have to agree it is nice to see them coming out with a new range and with new packs and other products. I'm yet to try any of their acrylic paints. I have heaps of little tins of enamel which as I found out you can leave for 20+ years and they still come back to life. Not so sure acrylic would last the same way.

I love humbrol 26 for english uniforms also 54 brass...ive never tried the humbrol acrylics tho.

Absolutely correct Joe , I too can vouch for a good twenty years. You do have to be careful to clean any paint around the top of the tinlet before replacing the lid, thus ensuring a good seal, or they won't come back to life after a couple of weeks :)

Cheers

I still have viable tins of Humbrol Authentics! I wish they would bring them back.
