Welcome to the Big Bad War Canoe GB.
Thank you for the support so far from:

Patrick.
Ralph

John Rixon.

That's quite a good turn out but if you wish to join in, feel free. The more the merrier.

You can now start your build thread and post photo's of the box art/sprue shots and any extras. But remember NO building before the first of Jan 2017 :)

Its HMV found it on amazon there is a few products including docks for the ships as well. worth a look if you fancy doing something different

Quick update S.M.S Beowulf has arrived with photos to follow. only thing is there is only one little problem with it. THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE IN GERMAN WITH NO PICTURES LOL. German translation book now in the post.

New knives arrived. load of glue ready. instruction translated to English. just waiting for the first of Jan and I am ready to go. looking forward to see how every one is getting on.

Hi Ian
I know I'm not in this running this time as 1 I'm not a ship builder as such ( just yet ) but I'm going to start shortly my own battleship HMS Rodney 1/700 with all the additional PE ( I hope to make a good effort ) when it all arrives
This will be my first ever ship build and I've been in contact with Fenlander and he's been more than helpful in getting me started with ideas etc etc.
If I may I may be asking for the odd help here and there and I'm also hoping I can count on the odd shipbuilder for advice
I'll do my own thread build etc not attached to this
Just to say that this time I'm not there but next time maybe

Regards

Robert

I'm sure you will get loads of help when you get started on it.

I'm afraid I can't commit to buying, or, for that matter building such a big project, so I'm gonna duck out of this and join the Diorama GB, where I can do a small project. Circumstances have led to me having a bit less time this year, and a little dio is managable! I will still be watching with great interest, particulalrly that big bugger of yours, Ian!
