I am coming to that conclusion as well Lee. You are an ex Navy man so I will take that as an official "Yes a Destroyer is the Battleship of today."

Count me in. It takes me a good six to nine months to complete a boat, I have got the USS Indianaplolis on the go at the moment, which should be finished before the end of the year. I wanted an excuse to get the Dreadnought. I also have the USS New York 1/350, USS Arizona 1/200, which are cruisers, which I believe can be classed as small battleships. WIll they fit into this GB?
Best I get myself a war canoe then!

All fine with me. Big boats with guns.
I just really want to avoid the Aircraft carriers, Supply ships, Assault ships and the like.

What do you all think to a start On 1st Jan and then we can all have a full year to build. I can already see a few names that are in other GB's starting 1st Jan, myself included

Any Fighting SHIP that is NOT an aircraft carrier or assault ship. Any scale from 1/350 and up to 1/35 !
Battleship, Destroyer, Frigate, Corvette, And all the rest. As long as it is not An Aircraft carrier or assault ship. Or Hovercraft
Or Landing Boat. Or MTB - Status
