A nice looking ride.
I dont think I would ever buy one though. Its TINY, if I could get in I would never get out again.

Yikes! What have I gotten into.

Nice clear parts. almost no distortion.

The detail is OK. bit dated perhaps. Good enough for me to butcher. I cant see any parts for a roll cage, there is a story there somewhere.

Might attempt seatbelts and an open door or two. Its only a kerb side model so don't expect to see the motor compartment. lol
Hmm wonder if i have some white paint....

Lovely, I'll watch along.

If memory serves, it was designed for competition then made into a road car, rather than the other way around as is the norm.

You are right, Andy.
They built and put on the market just the needed number of cars (500) required to enter the rally competitions as Group 4 car.

There is a film about it on netflix watched it at the weekend RACE FOR GLORY Audi v Lancia. Quite good,

Looks like it should be fun Ian.

A friend used to have an Intergrale, seriously quick car.

Ooh, yes please! Surely one of the truly great automotive body shapes. Still looks totally contemporary.

Dang Boss! That looks like a nice old kit and should build up well. I'm with you about sports cars........Easy to get in, but you can never get back out of them...

Well the lid is off the glue and plastic has been stuck!
So far just a few 'big bits' that are going to be black...And the first question. Rally Cars. would the bottom be undersealed or painted, thinking due to weight. or both durability and all that... Anyone know? I would like to know before I spray the whole bottom black lol.

Much of this according to the distractions is matt black with a few bits of steel here and there..

So the rest of the engine area is 'sorted' minus the exhausts.
Door cards are to be black like the floor, also the rear bulkhead, the seats grey... but I s'pose the first thing is a splosh of primer...
More later... hope a rally fan can tell me about the underside question.

Morn Boss,

Good to see you finally cutting plastic instead of grass. AndyT gave me a tip and a pic in my GTR build about underside color. He said it was normally white, so the mechanics could see any oil leaks and the like. Probably true for rally cars too, Ian. The little fella's start is looking good too!!!

Andy T earlier in one of the builds said the majority of rally cars are white underneath which helps identify oil leaks etc.

Thanks Allen. I got the ride on back Monday. Took and hour and a half to cut ALL the grass!

Thanks Stefee.

White it is then. Cheers.

As the guys have said, usually stone chip protection then gloss white so that it's also easy to clean / hose down.
