I think the idea was to park end-on so you exited straight onto the pavement!

All very nice - until you had an accident! No protection at all - at least on a motorbike you had a helmet!

Absolutely right!! Safety was a bit of second thought back then, no one wore seat belts if they had a car with them!

The astounding thing is that in 1926 so many were killed, when there were so few cars on the road!! You can understand the peak in the war years, with the blackout.
Seatbelts had to be fitted to new cars from 1968, and compulsory worn in 1983. Considering the number of cars on the road, the death rate is low.............

Wow! Something to be said for airbags and crumple zones!

Detail painted the lower hull & tracks, before I add the upper hull - there are several puzzles to work out - like how the engine exhaust connects to the silencer ( and can you see it! )
