Ok, Lets have some fun, imagine you can time travel, now I know if your a Big Bang Theory fan they'd say you'd still be in the same place but lets just suppose you can travel in time and location.

So where and when would you go?

A few rules, you can't change history, so no going back and picking the winning Lotto numbers or killing off the despots of history, you can observe but not interact.

As for me, I've a few places and times I'd like to look at, firstly Roswell,,, what did happen there, was it a weather balloon? Alien ship or just hype to divert eyes from other research? How about the OK Coral Hollywood has always painted it with a tint so was Wyatt Earp the stand up person history says? Oh and the Pyramids did they actually build ramps to carry heavy stones up?

Hope you get the idea and have some fun with it, take it as serious as you'd like :)

grassy knoll, dallas, november 22 1963.................just to see what did happen

I think the list could almost be endless, ww2 period, imagine seeing the squadrons of lancasters and spitfires going over. On a similar line to Adrian, the british roswell at RAF Bentwaters in the early 80s, would those American service men really have mistook orford ness lighthouse for a UFO? Oh and of course, who wouldn't wanna go back to see the dinosaurs!!!!

Cheers, Andrew

All the way back for me...I want to see humans interact with neanderthal.

Observe and not change...Would that include bringing things back?

I always thought it could be fun/cool to go back to the end of WWII and buy up loads of surplus. Aircraft, trucks and the like.

If it was just to look? There is just to much history. lol

Thats easy. just go to a football match.

Ian M

Ah yes...The hooligan.

Socc...(ahem) Football just isn't like that here.

I would go back to see what colour the dinosaurs were and to really find out what killed them of.

I would also like to go back and see if Jesus and all those people really existed :)

1966 to see England win the world cup because I was only 4 at the time and I don't think I will see it again in my life time.

I would like to go forwards 10,20 even 30 years and see just exactly when we become extinct, at the rate we are going now it surely won't take much longer than that.

Yeah! Then we could finally get the colours right! :)

I would go back to see the great wars, not the I & II..... I’m talking to take a coffeepot to the past, just sit and know those important persons on the old history. Talk with the “brutal” Gengis Khan, the brave Spartan king, the cultured Minamoto Yoshitsune, or why not, “Juana de Arco”.... :)

1968...just to see Elvis perform his '68 comeback special in person...and then hang around for a bit and see all the subsequent Vegas shows...thankyouverymuch huh huh

I'd be different from you all (except Ken) and go forward first to see what happens in 50 to 100 years time. Then back to visit my favourite periods in history.

96 million years ago to see if it really was an asteroid that 'killed off the dinosaurs'. I'd want to be able to make a sharp exit to avoid going with them, if it was indeed the case :)

Cheers

Steve

I would like to go forward in time just to see how the world changes and also back in time to see the Dinosaurs

And one that would change things would be to not go into the pub when I first met the wife to be ( only kidding )
