I'm calling this one complete


In Flanders fields was to be a representation of my new skills I learnt in Tank building and painting/ weathering but it just got carried away from there. The two Emhar WW1 " Male and Female tank kits went together easily. Variety of paints used were Revell Aqua, VAllejo and humbrol washes and WN oils the figures were from same stable as Emhar ( British and German infantry.Vignette base small frame and polystyrene, clay and Revell/ Vallejo paints oils etc.


I've had fun building this and learnt a lot of new skills and although lengthy had to be the best I could do. Hope you like

Top 1/72 job, Robert. You've certainly crammed in the action. It's all happening that's for sure. Nice one.


One minor observation, I think some mud on the tank tracks would make a big difference. Easy fix....

Phew! I'm glad you finished this one before I get kicked off for being an agent provocature!


Excellent build Robert! You've crammed a lot into that & it definitely gives an idea of the terror the early tanks must have caused. Very well done!

Wow, great diorama Robert. A lot going on in there, good detail, and the mud has made a big difference to the tanks. Awesome build

My easiest way of dollops of muck is really easy 1 teaspoon of artificial imitation grass, dollop of white glue few drops of water and Revell Aqua earth/ dark earth/ mud colours. Mix with spatula and apply with old tired brush.
