I decided the model I.C engine I am building would have a camshaft driven by a chain instead of gears. It took a bit of messing around in two cad packages, Freecad to produce the sprockets, and SolidEdge to import the Freecad files and draw the chain. This is the end result. A new penny for scale.
There are two spares on the buildplate because they looked very fragile! You can just see there are gaps between the links. The next pic should have shown the gaps better, but it's a bit blurred.
I have primed the print ready for the top coat (or another coat of primer first). I'll paint the sprockets silver to look like bare steel, and the chain something darker.
