ill be there , just got car insurance sorted so apart from not as much spending money as hoped will be going, will be there all weekend with local ipms group but had a disaster with overnight accommodation so will be sleeping in the car!!!!! other than that looking forward to it, just cant belive how quick its come around again
 
I start a 6 month contract in Telford tomorrow, and people keep mentioning Telford, is there a website with some info? When is it?

I'd be curious to see just how far away I am from some of the awesomeness I see on this forum!
 
Thanks. This weekend does seem to be popular. What with my Dad's birthday on the Saturday in Brighton and the NFL game at Wembley on the Sunday it looks like I won't be able to squeeze a trip up the M54...

I'm guessing it's annual if there's a year in the date, hopefully I'll be a lot better next year and it won't look like such a wide gap between what I can produce compared to what you awesomenaughts can!

Are people going to post pics up on here? Or is it one of those no photos allowed type events?
 
It should be ok to take photos I will if I see a really good hurricane, well as long it's not better than mine !

Guess I won't take any photos of Hurrycanes then lol

I'll be doing a report for our club as usual so lots of pic taking for me, though having been to so many shows this year you do tend to see the same builds a lot :)

All that wedge burning holes in your pockets lads I'm looking forward to having a good rummage around I've no intention of buying anything for full price I like a bargain unless it's something I just can't live without;)I am going with an open mind and so it will be interesting to see what grabs my attention but I do always visit the competition room first for inspiration hope to see a few of you there I will be visiting Adrian's club table to look at his big rocket and anything else on show see ya all bout 60 hrs from now...................cheers John
 
I'm getting excited now.only a couple of days to go.Ive got a list of modelling stuff I want ,but no particular kits in mind.If I see any old Monogram kits I haven't got or any other 1/48 kits I can't live without,I will buy them.Ive already got nearly 40 in my stash.So I won't be buying loads.The Zoukei Mura 1/48 TA152 interests me.So I will be having a look at that.Im also keen to see what Airfix and Revell have got in the pipeline.Hopefully I will meet up with some of the forum members like last year.

I will be there on Saturday.Perhaps we can arrange a members get together like last year?.Although you nearly missed us if I remember Ade?!.

Two cafes and I was still on the far side of one whilst others met at the furthest café away, lol

How about we say mid-day in the hall three café?

I'll be setting out in a couple of hours and it's going to take a while what with stops and it being Friday and all that

So it's hall 3 cafe at midday I'll see you both there you'll know who I am because I'll use the code , scale models break if you sit on them :D
 
I really hope you enjoy the show and the meet-up. It was great meeting some of you last year and I wish I could come this year, maybe next!!!
