New topics works the same way as new posts used to, once you have read them it doesn't show them until the next time they have been posted it, so there is absolutely no change in how that works

Come to think of it, I'd checked (or un-checked) the "unread" filter back there, which probably explains why I'm finding it acting differently here.

Ian was asked if the post text could be made bigger, I've set it to size 18, it looks ok to me but I'm at work and have a 47" ultrawide monitor

I prefered the previous text size, but I'm also a bit weird . Any possibility you can add it as an option in user settings so people can set it themselves? (I'm using phone version)

No because it’s a style option, but you could change your style to default from blue-yellow style, that one is untouched.

Getting there slowly, being a non teccy person I find it beneficial to achieve one action/ task at a time e.g. post an image, use the quote facility.
Many thanks to John and his "minions" for facilitating the move and the constant problem solving/ answering queries.
