Scale Model Shop

Is there such a thing as a "What if" scale model topic? eg: Hypothetical?

Had a quick look in my stash and realised that I do have another of these little (tiny, 1:1200 scale) Revell miniship kits, eg: the Scharnhorst.
NB: I'm currently already building a Revell miniship kit, eg: the Bismarck.

Did a small bit of research and it appears that the Bismarck and the Scharnhorst did not sail together, but....

Considered doing a "What if" diorama, eg: What if the Bismarck and Scharnhorst had sailed together?
So that might be a little build in the near future, the diorama base would not need to be large as both these ships are so small at this scale.
Could be quite cool to see them both side by side?

Tirpitz and Scharnhorst sortied together when in Norwegian waters so you could make the Revell Miniships versions of both of those without the need for a "what-if".

Id have to do a what if holy grail.....turn the sharnhorst into a battlecarrier......half battle ship half aircraft carrier.......then do a '46 camo scheme

I used to love doing what ifs....got out of the habit......trying to remember who else on here loves them

Yep, could do, but I don't have the Tirpitz, so trying to cobble something together out of what I have....Ordinarily I would not even have bought these kits, far too small for me really, but they were part of an auction haul which had lots of varied kits, so I just happen to have them.

@pigtech the Tirpitz and the Bismarck were sister ships, so no noticeable difference at that scale, if you aimed for a Tirpitz paint scheme.
