Saw this on eBay for £30
Is it a good version of the Lancaster? I really want to buy a 1/72 soon.

I just had a look on scalemates it seems to be a new tool dating from 2012 but how good I can't say as I have never done one.

Have a look at the Airfix forum. I came across this build blog of another Lanc kit, which although a slightly different version, I believe it's the same basic kit.

The latest Airfix Dambusters kit is a better representation of the Lancaster than the latest Revell one. But in saying that, both are good kits and a joy to build. If it's in your price range then you won't go far wrong getting it.

I have ordered the Dambusters one. Should be with me by the end of the week. I now have 4 new kits to start and 3 in progress! Getting carried away lol.
