Nice rig Peter, I expect you'll need a whole shelf to park that baby on when you get it finished. Looks to be a real beast! Will you be doing it as shown on the box art or do you have something different in mind? I'll keep an eye on this if you don't mind. :thumb2:

Nice one Peter, I finished my first truck and trailer combo recently and it certainly takes up some space. Good luck with the build

Just had ago at putting chrome on one of the exhaust pipes I used an alclad gloss black base and alclad chrome.IMG_20220304_144322.jpg
And in place. IMG_20220304_144817.jpg

That looks good....I have some of this but have never tried it.....was it a difficult process? Rick H.

Not to difficult you need the alclad gloss black base give it a few light coats making sure it drys between and then the chrome in very light coats giving it chance to dry between it takes a couple of hours but the results can be very good.

Hi Peter
There's something rather glamorous about these big American truck. Probably completely wrong like Hollywood's depiction of the Wild West :rolling:
Great start and the chrome is very good.

Chassis complete I have had ago at rechroming the fuel tanks they haven't come out to bad but its a bit messy so that's all I will be doing. IMG_20220305_133523.jpgIMG_20220305_180002.jpgIMG_20220305_175948.jpg
And the cab interior has been started. IMG_20220305_175928.jpg

Thanks for the rundown Peter I do like the results better than the chrome on the truck wheels......if it were mine, think I'd strip the wheels and have a shot at the Alclad treatment for them as well. ;) Rick H.

Part one finished.
I have found out that the instructions are sadly lacking in detail as some of the steps should have had decals done first not a bad kit but I think I will stick to revell trucks. IMG_20220308_090810.jpgIMG_20220308_090805.jpgIMG_20220308_090754.jpg
