Italeri 1/35 " Barchino " Italian Explosive Motor Boat

Dave, on impact with whatever, the boat was designed to break in half at that cross member and sink under the target. The depth charge was set to go off at a pre- determined depth.

I can only presume the ring John mentioned was part of the breaking process.

Once he had his vessel locked onto the target, the 'driver' abandoned the boat. One brave cookie!

I should have bought one of these when they were available at the LHS. Looks interesting Dave.

I am also experiencing arthritice on both the fingers in my hands. Every morning I struggle to close them. The index fingers are the most painful.

Cheers,
Richard
Get that checked by a GP Richard. If it’s osteoarthritis then it’s just wear and tear, and Ibuprofen or Paracetamol will control it. However, if it’s Rheumatoid arthritis then the sooner you get it under medical control the less damage will be done to your joints.

A few bits to touch up, then adding all those wingnuts - not a task I'm looking forward to....................

Come on quickly Dave. Nice job.
Simple model, Tim, It all comes together pretty quickly - by the way, the photo seems to exaggerate the 'grubbiness' - it really doesn't look that bad on my bench.............

I'm glad my mats not alone either in that state:smiling3:

Neat and very quick Dave.
