Decals now on , so next up is a sealing mist of Klear then a light panel wash . The exhausts need painting then I can give it some light soot staining and a final matt coat , then its on with the last few bits - undercarriage , canopy , aerial etc . IMG_8166.webpIMG_8167.webp

Can't quite decide whether I prefer the bigger or smaller spots, but the larger ones do more closely resemble a couple of photos. Now he says that..!
At least the 202s don't seem to have used the 'poached egg' schemes like MC.200s and G.50s

Does look good though. Looking forward to the fuselage band reveal!
Ive got the Italeri mc200 in 1/48 steve and thats probably going to get the poached egg treatment.

Looking forward to that, even though I don't do 1/48 Regia Aeronautica. Still, there are those 1/32s keep calling to me... Only because I've not sold the ones I've got!

With a final push this is now done . It had a wash and then a final couple of mist coats of matt before all the last bits were fitted . The canopy is tiny and fragile so I opted to hand paint the frames instead of masking , helpfully the frame lines are very well defined . Here's a few pics to finish the build thread , completed thread to come. Thanks to all who’ve been following , ciao tonyIMG_8175.webpIMG_8177.webpIMG_8178.webp
