Hi all...old and new faces!

It's been that long since I last posted on here that my profile picture had gone!

I've missed lots by the looks of it!?

Decorating is taking longer than planned! :(

Hopefully over the next few weeks I can get back to my desk and start bashing some plastic together again, just so I can post it and get laughed at...Again! Lol ;) o_O

See y'all soon

Lee :)

Well spotted :D

SLR 7.62mm

1st gun I ever used

Lee :)

I bet that kicked a bit. I have a 7.62mm bolt action and I've normally had enough after 50 rounds. :D

Much prefer to shoot the 5.56mm, I can go through 200 rounds with no bruised shoulder. :)

I was 16 at the time...never fired a gun before...that was fun! :D

Lee, of course I know you, it was just me having a bit of fun....;)

It's been a fair old time since you've been on, and it's great to have you back with us.:)

Cheers,
Ron

Ron, it wouldn't be you without the leg pulling :p

Welcome back Lee :D

Thanks you Si :)
Welcome back Lee, nice iron there;)...........Jim:)

Thanks Jim...it was on one of the reenactment scenes at this year's Tankfest

Nice to see you again Lee

I loved the L1A1 ultra reliable and completely sqauddie proof unlike its replacement the L98A1 which could practically disassemble its self with a good shake.

I liked them both...SLR for stopping power and the SA80 because it was lightweight but both weapons in the hands of a matelot...dangerous! :D
I much preferred the L7A2...great fun that beast was...!

I was lucky, I didn't have to carry mine anymore than 50 metres or so!? The joys of living on a ship! Lol
Sennybridge...I've heard lots of dits about life in a British owned German barracks!
