Hi Guys

I've been off the site for a while - away from modelling and pre-Christmus stuff as well as finishing sculpting a bust.

This is the latest I'm going to paint - John Prettyjohns VC, awarded the VC for actions during the Crimean War and the first Royal Marine VC.

Normally I jump in with the head, the problem is that I then tend to rush the torso to get it finished. This time it is the torso first and then the head. so its going to be red to start.

Those medals and insignia took a long time - and a number of attempts!

Here is the result of yesterday evening and some of today:

More work is needed with the medals and around the insignia, but this evening its on to the face.
