Is that another corrugated plane built by Junkers Paul
yes, it was something they pioneered

Nice choice Paul, and as you point out a real pioneering aircraft. You might consider painting as many of the markings as you can, or using lots of decal solution. I built a Ju52 a few years ago, the decals did finally sit into the corrugations but not without a fight. Your decals look to be in good new condition so that's a good start :)

Very nice choice paul, it looks a neat little kit with great mouldings . Of course therein lies the problem ,as you say the corrugations are going to be a real bugger when it comes to decalling . I was amazed at the construction of the ju 52 that theyve got at Cosford , when you get up real close its built like a tin shed! Honestly its really agricultural looking!! Cant wait to see the build, cheers tony

i think this might be a little bit trickier than i first thought, im going to have to be careful with the 'glass' when i glue it in

got the cabin interior done, not that you are going to be able to see any of it lol

proving to be not as simple as i thought it was going to be

a few fit issues when putting together the fuselage meant a bit of 'adjustment' with something sharp

and i was going to do the float plane version but putting them together was one of those three handed jobs......so ive gone for the wheeled version.....cept of course i had already attached the floatplane tail!...so that had to come off and get replaced

masking was a bugger......ended up doing lots of touching up cos the black bled a lot under the tape cos of the corrugations

This is looking very nice and the painting the corrugated panels sounds hell ( I had similar trying to do my Junkers 52 when the wing tip quarters were painted Lufthansa yellow which ran into the main wing!

I liked the build of Junkers but I really theink even the full scale must have had problems painting.

I like the interior and as you have side windows it will I'm sure look spot on

Really liking this

Robert

Nice work with the painting Paul. I bet it did bleed a little under the tape.

decals are quite thick and dispite the fact i gave it a good shiny top coat i still got some silvering on the black panels, dont think the corregations helped, used lashings of microsol too

looking forward to finishing this one, not been as nice to do as i hoped
