Nice engine, looks like a well used, dirty engine, without it being overdone

Excellent stuff Polux! I've never seen anyone pie-shade an engine before!

Top marks for attention to detail.

It's levels of detail like this that really make a model look stunning. The engine is a model in it's own right.

Beautiful shading and realistic finish, and gives us all something to aim for.

Thank you very much to all for those nice comments...! :)

I know how you feel i had plenty of sanding with my 1/24 spit it seems to be one of those things with older airfix 1/24 kits.

But youv'e got that lot lick into touch.

Thanks Peter. I feel better now :D

I take a fast look on the web...the 1/24 scale give you many possibilities to add new pieces...but think I'm late now, so I will do it OOB.

Polux the Engine came out spot on! Do'nt envy those tedious sanding sessions either!

I know how you feel Polux my hurricanes the same I've only just finished the cockpit on mine and added the first cot to the frame , so what I'm doing in drying time is putting other pieces together like undercarriage and gun bays oh and sanding !

I finished the building part and put a coat of paint on , mine attaches to the engine bay so I have to do it on sections then piece it together but I'm enjoying it , I've even started other kits to take away the boredom of sanding so I don't get bored and stick it away I reckon I'll have this and another small kit built by the end of the week :)

looking forward to seeing ,how you do your cockpit, ;)

uuuum that kind of sounds wrong
