I have just put on E Bay a genuine Ashtray that came from the Nurnberg International Military Tribunal in 1945, it has been used for years by our family for keeping "The meter money" in any guesses how much it will go for ? It was given to my dad by a soldier that was at the trials.

I have no idea. Things like that either go for a song or do well. I wouldn't thing a serious collector would buy of ebay, would they not want to authenticate it i some way? However, there are loads of people who will part with silly money for things like this. Hope it does well Hugh.

It's an interesting item, but I stopped smoking years ago , if the right person finds it you should get a few quid for it, I'm watching it

Dad has also got a box of Afrika Korps stuff in the loft So he has just announced today! Thing is he keeps giving me stuff to sell ! I think I should be on commission ! Thing is he cant remember what or where half of it comes from ! it took me 2 days to find out what the "Bag" of US army badges were and write them up all for .99p each !!!!! thing is you never know he gave me another of his now famous "Bags" of this time Car badges and between them he made nearly £200, still it keeps me busy (Except I have no time to complete only my 3rd model !)

Just found your item on Ebay. Does anyone else think it's odd to have a special edition ashtray made for a tribunal? Like having t-shirts printed for a hanging.

Besides, I have it on good authority that this is the ashtray the judge used:

Tony yes i do think it was a bit odd but as I look about i find even more stuff, there is always some one who will profit out of anything, look at the money made from Lady D's death or the death of many people which make more money dead then alive !
