Thanks guys and gal I feel much better knowing that there is more than one version of it going about so maybe mine is not wrong and you can't actually open the bonnet so I suppose the radiator thing is mute anyway guess I was just feeling bad. This is such a great club.
 
Another not well known fact, is 2 of these machines were built.

And they were different in several details, so you're not necessarily wrong with your build.

I thought I had got over the problems with the engine but as you can see that is where the engine sits with the chassis in the right place and somehow I have to get the blower on the top of that engine, I mean that is miles out I recon about 10 mm too far back, really not sure how to get round this one. do I move the engine or hack the chassis about and move it forwards.
