Dismantle a old kit which someone gave me and will start from if this is al there only broke two axle pins pretty good.

I will be adding Zimmerit to the turret sides and upper hull.

The conversation is into a KV2 ZiS-6 which had 107mm long barrel cannon, but as captured German version which had a PzKpfw III commanders cupola

Added missing details to the road wheels by adding the lightening holes and added details to the drive sprockets/idlers.
Removed the rear details on the rear engine deck, remade engine covers and started to add mesh grills to the air intakes.
Removed turret roof details and rear turret doors.

Great start on this old girl Pete....I'm doing a captured SU-100.......no Zimmerit in mine though.

Toon KV2 ZiS-6(captured).
Repaired the two broken axle pins, fitted wheels, made up 1/35 KV2 tracks.
Added missing rear engine grill and flector to rear panel.
Upgraded the the front sloped upper hull armour above the glacis plate.
Fitted aerial mount, turret deflection strip.
Removed the two rear storage bins, relocated one to the front, will be adding two spare fuel drums, only rough filled all the unnecessary holes as most holes are going to be covered by Zimmerit.

Cheers Rick it's a bit slow progress I know so having to pace myself and instruction from the good lady had I'm just out of hospital.
I did a SU-100 toon not long ago, and as for zimmerit it hides an awful lot .

Fitted headlight wiring, made up air intake grill's and fitted, made two oil drums and added securing bands.
Added viewing slits, repositioned side grab handles, added pistol port with chain and plug to turret side panels.
Fitted Panzer III commanders cupola and second hatch, thinned down the three viewing windows on the turret roof.

Made rear turret hatch door, drilled out exhaust pipes and M/G, added rear tail light.
Removed all the details on the gun mantlet and reshaped, making gun shield from white card leaving in boiling water to reform shape .

Finished the gun mantlet, added lifting hooks, radio antenna.
