Cheers. I'll be putting in a second row of seats. It won't be very comfortable back there as there's no legroom, but it's better than walking

i was leaving the army when the leylands were brought in with power steering wow what an upgrade only ones i drove with power steering were the leyland and foden dropswagons or the scammell commander the old scammell crusader didn't have power steering

Pushing into the shop with the Scammell and running out of air , like you had to stand and heave the steering.

After sorting the underside I've started with the paintwork. First off was Nato green all over the body, which I then lightened with a tan colour for the tilt



With it being so small, a few blobs of blu tack were ideal for the masking



A splash of Nato black left me with this



I decided to freehand the tilt for a softer look, and deliberately avoided lining up the camo pattern exactly.

A fairly simple kitbash but I found it much more fun than just knocking a regular kit together.

Fantastic stuff Andy , theres something about 1/76 scale armour that just attracts me , might have to have another dabble sometime

Thanks Jim, it was certainly a test for the old peepers.

And Steven & Tony, thanks. I thought it would be a real challenge at this scale but it was a great change from larger pieces.

I seem to be having a run of small stuff at the moment. I'm currently working on some Epic Scale Warhammer tanks & figures, which are something like 8mm scale, or 1/200
