discussion Large decal on decal paper, advice please

This weekend I'm going to be printing out a large decal approx 7 inch by 3 inch, it's going onto decal paper and although I've used this paper in the past I'm thinking the decal will be a tad fragile when trying to place it.
So do you reckon I should divide it up into say three pieces and join up when in place?

That is quite a big decal. I would probably divid it in sections trying to find a natural place for the join to better hide it.

Yeah I'm thinking of cutting it along a diagonal maybe into three.
