This finally came today. It was a preorder from the end of October last year. A nice kit and a can be built in the erect or travel mode. The downside is the plastic/rubber tires included that melt the rims over time. Speaking of travel mode, a Fries Kran needed something to tow it, so...…………..

The lamp has 3 brightness settings, recharged will work up to 4 hours and the base is no bigger than 4 Tamiya bottles.
Although not intended as a replacement for the office lighting I have in the cave, this little one is just for the greyish days when the natural light just isn’t enough or at the end of day with the sun setting down and one needs some extra light on the cutting mat.:smiling4:

Had a couple of close calls with it falling too, another incentive to work more carefully.:tongue-out3:Fernando,

After several falls, it no longer stays open by itself ( now wedged with a piece of card ). I've never really timed how long it lasts, but it's pretty good - If mine packs up, I'll get another...

Thanks Rick, I’ve always had a crazy idea of building her like her current state of being a museum ship.:upside:Fernando, nice haul Especially the Intrepid! I served on her in '72 & '73 with VA 45
(A 4-E) at that time we were part of an anti sub group operating in the north Atlantic.
Thanks for the memories, Rick H.
