Scale Model Shop

Latest Acquisitions (2019)

My local model railway store has now started stocking Tamiya products!! They probably got fed up with me asking if they might expand they’re model section every time I popped in:smiling5:

I only popped in to browse but ended up splashing the cash:tongue-out:

Scotties fault really!:smiling4:

No Si,

I think John has been sniffing the Rhododendrons again. Gardening does that to you...……………...

Must be a place full of old model makers dropping off the perch!
About ten years ago, a second-hand bookstore near where I live suddenly had a huge number of AFV-related books, many dating back to the 1970s or even older, and every time I popped in they would have some more as they sorted through the books of someone who’d apparently passed away and his collection had ended up at the shop. (I figured that out because the same name/address stamp was in all of the books :)) I bought a good number of them, but of course, that well has run dry by now.

Placed a very cheeky bid on an evilbay auction, not expecting to win...... how wrong i was! Only went and won it for a total steal.

So i now own a 1/48 Revell He111 H22 & V1 Rocket

Nice Kit!! I have often thought about doing one of these prehistoric cruise missiles in 1/87 scale. I just haven't found a V1 in that scale to complete the build. You are one lucky guy. cheers, Rick H.

Always some great stuff posted here to improve our building of kits or insulating the house. I guess I'll be nice and toasty this winter, but I have to stay away from evilbay as I do have enough in the stash…..But hey a good price, is a good price and one can't resist a good price. €22,74 for this was pretty good.

The Verlinden Zimmerit is very well done and I never knew they made it. Another wagon added that was also cheap. I only need 3 or 4 more to complete a future plan,

Does anybody need some horses??? I also got a great price on another V2 rocket kit,

Ok, so I really didn't need another rocket, but you can never have enough of them...……………………….

We still won't talk about the 5 resin figures from 2 weeks ago……….

Prost, needing a new shelf unit!!!

Like a certain Mr. D from the lands east, I have a problem too…:rolling:
Got these at Sanicole last week and the kits were cheap especially the pristine P-40 and Spit (€7.50 each).
Blue Angles markings for the Skyhawk and like the other two €5 each no problem if it doesn’t turn out as expected.

The Viper book was pretty cheap too at €15 and a good reference for a F-16I somewhere in the stash...

Popped into the recycling centere to dispose of some rubbish I popped into the little shop they have and came away with these two I had to ask twice because I didn't believe the price of £15 the rail gun has the bogies done and the Stealth bomber is unstarted and that's got a price of alone £15 I will have a proper butchers later today.20190922_105333.jpg
