Latest Acquisitions (2020)

Got this today. Nothing to do with making models. But will sit nicely in my mancave. A very nice Fw190 A6 print from the great aviation artist Stephen Brown

Thanks Brother, but the screws are are at 7 and 32 mm so there is no way they could be used without drilling holes. A wonderful offer, but I am in the same boat,

There is only about 30 left in the box and in the 5 pack below it, the blades will just fit with a little tweaking. They are double edge blades and should keep me going for a few years. Thanks again Dude 2.....

After having used the one I bought a few weeks ago, I can confirm that assessment. Don’t bother with an NWSL Chopper, get one of these instead.

Always the same Dude 1 and Jakko, buy something that's goodish and then several years later a top notch version appears. The Chopper is ok--------- but, movement on the arm, the angles are too short. Iv'e found taking a slow cut is the only way to get a clean straight edge.

Keeping postie busy two Master Box figures, the hussar at 1/32, the Chinese at 1/24DSCF0418.JPG

And from John, the AK ultra matt varnish & a couple of AK 3rd Gen coloursDSCF0421.JPG

And, my cutting mat was looking a bit sad, so for £4.99 I got this A3 matDSCF0420.JPG
Impressed - heavy, good quality, double sided - the other is dark grey printing over the same light grey base. I'm sure it'll upset some people, but, it's metric only! :rolling:

F82s were reintroduced in 1948 as jets of the time hadn't the legs to escort bombers into Russia. In theory, they could fly from England to Moscow & loiter for 30 minutes & return. 12 hour flights were possible. They were based w/Strategic Air Command. PaulE
